1. About SelfShelf

SelfShelf is a personal book tracking web application operated by an individual based in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The service is available at selfshelf.app.

2. Accounts

To use SelfShelf, you must create an account with a valid email address. You are responsible for:

• Keeping your login credentials secure
• All activity that occurs under your account
• Providing accurate information

You must be at least 13 years old to use SelfShelf. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

3. Free & Premium Plans

Free plan: Allows you to track up to 20 books. No payment required.

Premium plan: A one-time payment of $4.99 grants unlimited book tracking and access to all features. Premium is tied to your email address.

Payments are processed via Gumroad. All sales are final — we do not offer refunds unless required by applicable law. If you experience an issue with your purchase, contact us at info@selfshelf.app.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the service for any illegal purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' data
• Interfere with or disrupt the service
• Use automated tools to scrape or abuse the service
• Share your account credentials with others

5. Your Data

You own all the data you enter into SelfShelf (your books, notes, ratings, etc.). We do not claim ownership of your content. You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting info@selfshelf.app.

6. Service Availability

We strive to keep SelfShelf available at all times, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. The service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the service at any time with reasonable notice.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, SelfShelf and its operator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including loss of data.

8. Privacy

Your use of SelfShelf is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these terms by reference.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms. We will notify registered users of significant changes via email.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
